Community Link Fraserburgh is building sustainable links to the local community which will enhance the lives of older people (65+) and promote a sense of community involvement.
Working together with other agencies Community Link Fraserburgh aims to establish preventative measures to ensure that older people in Fraserburgh and the surrounding areas overcome loneliness and isolation, and empower them to stay in the community longer and lead more fulfilling lifestyles.
Community Link Fraserburgh is a project of BRIDGE, the Council for Voluntary Services in North Aberdeenshire.
A home visit service for socially isolated older people began in November 2004.
