Refuge with staff cover, including Helpline:
Mon-Fri: 8.00am-8.00am (24 hour cover)
Sat/Sun: 4.00pm-8.00am (overnight)
Moray Women's Aid provides advice, support and refuge to physically, mentally, emotionally and sexually abused women and their families.
- To provide temporary refuge, give moral support and help the individual to determine their own future
- To encourage the women to be responsible for themselves as well as their children
- To educate and inform other agencies, and the general public, about the causes and effects of family violence
Moray Women's Aid has several flats available for refuge. The flats are:
- 3 flats with 2 bedrooms (one is suitable for women with disabilities and is wheelchair accessible)
- 2 flats with 3 bedrooms
- 2 bedsits
