The Older People's Consultation and Monitoring Group was established in 2002. The purpose of the group is to involve older people in the planning and development of Joint Future services in Aberdeen.
Joint Future is the process of integrating community care services (for example, district nursing, occupational therapy, care management) provided by NHS Grampian, Aberdeen City Council and their voluntary agency partners. The Group is a partnership between older people, the voluntary sector, Aberdeen City Council and NHS Grampian, but is very much user led.
