- Social Services - meals on wheels, home care services, respite care
- Voluntary Groups - self help and support groups

Where does the information come from?
The CareData team gathers and organises into one easy accessible service the mass of information that is available on a wide range of community and health services. We collect and collate information from services and groups in the statutory and voluntary sectors and ensure that it is kept up to date.
In the years since its inception, Grampian CareData evolved to become the primary agency in gathering and disseminating local community care information in the North East of Scotland. In recent years, however, the funding organisations have launched and developed their own web sites and on them are now publishing much of the information previously held by Grampian CareData.
Following a review in 2005, new software allows the Grampian CareData service to signpost to high quality information held on other web sites rather than holding a full record, thus avoiding duplication of effort and ensuring consistency of information. Links are automatically checked and, if changed or moved, will be updated by a member of the CareData team although updating the information held elsewhere is the responsibility of the publishing organisation.
All information collected is held according to the Data Protection Act and our Data Protection Statement.
