Services

The Talking Banffie and Turra Talk Association provides local news recorded on to CD for blind and partially sighted people, or those unable to read because of other difficulties such as a stroke.

  • The Talking Banffie - a free weekly CD recording of local news from the Banffshire Journal
  • Turra Talk - a free weekly CD recording of the Turriff Advertiser

These talking newspapers are distributed to people in the north Aberdeenshire area who are blind, partially sighted or who cannot read because of a disability but the CDs can be sent anywhere.

The service is funded by a variety of fundraising activities and donations.
