Aberdeenshire Council provides pre-school education for all children from the appropriate admission date following their third birthday. Each child's full entitlement is five 2 1/2 hour sessions per week during term time in either a local authority pre-school setting, or with an education partner provider. Parents can choose to send their child to fewer sessions per week, or none at all if that is their choice.
