Aberdeen City Council Sport and Recreation Department is responsible for managing the Council's leisure facilities, which consist of indoor and outdoor sport centres, swimming pools and golf courses. The range of facilities, some of which have créche facilities, also includes tennis and squash courts, playing fields, bowling greens, fitness studios and an ice rink. Organised activities, sports coaching and holiday day camps (supervised holiday activities for 5 to 13 year olds) are available. The facilities are available to individuals or clubs.
