Barnardo's 16+ Aberdeenshire - Throughcare and Aftercare Service
16+ Aberdeenshire is a Barnardo's (Scotland) Project which has been operating since 1995 and works in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council working closely with various departments such as social work, housing and criminal justice.
The service aims to support vulnerable young people who are gaining independence while living in the community. It is provided on a voluntary basis to young people aged 16 to 21 years who were previously looked after by the local authority.
