Grampian REMAP
The Rehabilitation Engineering Movement Advisory Panel (REMAP) develops aids and adaptations for people with disabilities. Many people with disabilities encounter problems in their daily lives which cannot be resolved with standard commercial equipment, despite the increasing range available.
REMAP utilises the voluntary services of professional engineers, technicians, craftspeople and healthcare experts to try and resolve such problems by designing new equipment or modifying existing equipment subject to ownership and warranty checks. Grampian REMAP has been operating since 1983.
