Aberdeen City Assembly 2006 - The Granite City Gathering - 'Fit Noo and Fit Next?'

There is a new slant on this years City Assembly in that the Citizens of Aberdeen will decide the themes that will be discussed on the day.

The high profile, Lesley Riddoch will facilitate the debate which will have a top table of 'City Champions' to answer all your questions and inform you of what action will take place.

The topic for debate is very wide ... So YOU, as a Citizen of Aberdeen, will make the Agenda! Citizens are being asked to text or write in about the issues that are important to them. The Granite City Gathering - 'Fit Noo and Fit Next?' is one way for your views to be heard and actioned by The Aberdeen City Alliance (the community planning partnership). Communities have a chance to listen and exchange views on their vision for their City.

This is your opportunity to say what you think are the most pressing concerns for Aberdeen City. The debate will take place on Saturday 7th October 2006 at the Cowdray Hall from 12.30pm - 4.30pm (lunch and crèche facilities will be provided). All welcome.

You can text in your views via I-text on which themes/priorities for the City should be discussed by the 7th August to 07790 000 222. Alternatively, you can debate with your family, friends, colleagues, community groups and write in your views to Michelle Duff, ACVO, 44 Castle Street, Aberdeen, AB11 5BB or get online at: www.communityplanningaberdeen.org.uk
