Deleting a record

 

If a record is no longer required, it is easy to delete. Log in and select the record you wish to remove from your list by clicking on [View] to the left of the record title. When the page loads, you will see a Delete button at the top left. Click on this and then please enter a short message to us in the page that loads about why the record is to be deleted. Then, again, click the Delete button on the left.

Why do we want to know the reason for deletion?

Well, we have to admit to being a bit nosey! More important, it is an indication as to whether the record should be permanently removed in our next spring clean of the database or maybe should be left in case it is to be reactivated later. For example, you may wish a record to be removed for a short period whilst a service is temporarily suspended or a group not meeting at present but may be restarted at a later date.
