Grampian CareData is a community, care and health information service provided free of charge to the people of the North East of Scotland. We have a wealth of information about local groups, community services and health services and you can access this directly over the internet, from a public access point eg. libraries or by phoning us on our freephone information line 0800 136 225.
Our service is provided completely free of charge. It will not even cost you the price of a phone call if you use our freephone information line 0800 136 225
Grampian CareData is for everyone. Anyone can use our service to help them find the information they need but CareData is designed especially for:
- Older people
- People with physical or learning disabilities
- People with an illness or medical condition
- People with mental health problems
- Carers/friends/relatives
- Caring professionals
The CareData team is knowledgeable and experienced in information retrieval. We have additional resources and references available to us and we may be able to locate the information you require. If you cannot find the information you are seeking, please contact us by phone or email and we will try and find it for you.
New information is regularly added to the CareData database and if you would like to have your group or organisation's details included, please contact our Information Officer who will send you our "New Information Form". Your entry on CareData is free. Grampian CareData comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and we will require your signature to authorise the addition of your details to the database.
For those members of the public unable to use a PC or reach a public access point, telephone contact on our free phone number 0800 136 225 will allow us to provide a more personal information service. We also hope that hardcopy directories will be available in the future.
